The B-Sides Iowa team aims to create a conference that is both inclusive and diverse. We encourage security students as well as veteran speakers to share presentations across any topic in security. Specific topics that may be of interest to the B-Sides audience are listed below, but we absolutely encourage alternate ideas.
Network Security and Analysis
Forensic Investigation and Incident Response
Embedded System Security
Web Application Security
Fuzzing and Software Vulnerability Analysis
Reverse Engineering and Binary Analysis
Security Career Development
Cyber Law and Ethics
New Security Tools and Tutorials
Emerging Threats and Technology
Presentations should be 45-50 minutes in length, *not* including time for questions. We are not accepting sales pitches or vendor presentations. If you wish to consider presenting at this year’s sixth annual event, please complete the online CFP registration form by February 15, 2020. All proposals will be reviewed and scored by the B-Sides team. Successful proposers will be notified shortly thereafter.
Speaker Dinner the evening before the event, and our gratitude.
